Powder=full parking lot so you park on the HWY

We had to kill some time on Saturday before we could move into our apartment so we took a drive out past where we have been boarding. It was another blue sky day.
Lots of new snow on a weekend means full parking lots and a hike in from the highway. We saw a number of happy people in ski boots walking towards the mountain from the highway.
No we were not among them.
