News Flash

Well we went and did the one thing that neither of us expected...adopted a dog. Since we had not planned any grand adventures over the summer we (to be honest the male half of we) decided to once again foster for Lab Rescue of Greater Richmond (LRGR). We've missed having a dog on our hikes in the mountains so we figured we'd have one along on a few hikes until Fall. It looks like we've found a dog to do far more than a few summer hikes.

Meet Cooper...big 75 pound yellow lab with gold eyes. You could not get any more opposite than what we usually prefer. It's always been the female black lab with brown eyes that we've gravitated towards. Somehow this big yellow guy broke us down & found a way to get himself immersed into our day to day lives by being the 'perfect dog for us'. He adores car rides, camped like a dream, & even went on a canoe ride without tipping us into the water. Spoiled already he absolutely insists on tagging along, especially so when McD's or Panera are on the agenda. Now if he could only pass for human during ski season...
