Izzy's via Carson City

After 2 weeks we decided that the time had come that we really should wash clothes…along with Cooper.  Off we headed to Carson City, NV which is less than 50 miles from camp in search of a dog wash, Laundromat, and a few groceries.  Another camera was bought…the second one on the trip…when it decided it did not care to use its zoom function (maybe it is a sign that we take far too many photos) and stopped being useful to us.  Along with 2 more large cards (16 GB) since we’ve filled up 2- 8GB, 2- 4 GB, and a full Surface hard drive we think we may have exceeded out photo count on this trip.  Hopefully we’re all set for the final stretch.

After a stop by Micky D’s for the free WiFi and no latte since they had failed to clean their machine and it locked them out of using it.  An attempt was made anyway to post a few updates...too bad the WiFi was not able to handle our picture load and failed in updating.

We headed off toward camp with the full intention of cooking dinner at Capels Lake.  That idea failed once we got close to Izzy’s Burger Spa.  The plan shifted to 2 orders of Bonzi Burgers and a shared frings (French fries and onion rings).  A really great burger at a questionable looking dive...mismatched tables, gravel and dirt parking lot and all sorts of wood used to frame the “building.”  There is a certain charm about the joint and the food is darn good and cheap.  They were really hustling getting the food cooked and served.
We made our way back to camp and another lovely sunset.
