More Bridger Bowl

On 2/12 and 13 we went back to board and ski at Bridger Bowl. Cindi's get'n a lot better at boarding. She can now control both heel and toe edge pretty well, can transition from toe to heel easily and can usually make the heel to toe transition. Of course she did run into a fellow female boarder who was just sitting in the middle of the slope getting a lesson, but other than that, she's doing pretty good.

It was a really pretty day on 2/12.

We both got a little hurt on Friday (hey, it was Friday the 13th). Cindi took a tumble boarding and pulled a muscle in her abdomen. She still skied the rest of the day, but had to watch the turns & bumps. Then, late in the day I decided it might be fun to try a long, black set of moguls. Unfortunately, that's really not a great idea when you're tired. I caught the tails on one of the turns and somehow it twisted my ankle. I still made another couple of runs, but it was pretty sore later.

I twisted my ankle when I dropped-in right here just at the bottom of this pic. It is also a good shot of where the death-wish guys come down. You can see their tracks in the sunny area above the trail.

Hey, what's she doing in the scenic shot?
