Glacier in Nevada?

Yep, a glacier WAS here…not here now.   The valley was definitely carved by glaciers...steep cliff sides and marks along the canyon walls testify to glacier activity.  Our campsite in Thomas Canyon looks out over a small creek and up towards a massive wall of rock.  It reminds us of Zion’s National Park except no one is here…well a few people.  The campground has 42 sites and we cannot see any campers from ours.  Pretty special place.

Tomorrow we’ll drive up the Lamoille Canyon and see what we can find as far as hikes.  We do have one right across from our campsite…probably find enough to occupy us for the week.  If Cooper’s feet hold up we should be busy exploring the Canyon area.
