Driving with Cooper

Today we spent more time driving through Glacier National Park.  We started at West Glacier and turned back at St. Mary’s.  Along the way we stopped…an awful lot.  Cooper remembered the drill from last trip.  We slow down, pull over, grab cameras, binoculars, spotting scope and spend an inordinate amount of time taking pictures or looking for wildlife.  Sometimes we even sit and enjoy the scenery…sometimes Cooper gets to join us.  He prefers food be involved when he’s sitting around, but he does love to smell the scenery.

Often the window is down so he can add more drool along the side of the car.  If we roll the window up before he’s ready he lets us know by putting his head between the door and your shoulder then pants…nasty breath.  We roll the window back down…seems he has us well trained doesn’t it?

The day was very pleasant…sunny and low 70’s with a bit of a breeze.  We’ll take it over what back East is experiencing.   This is awesome.  NO. WE. DON’T. MISS. VIRGINIA.  Tomorrow we’re heading to another section called Many Glacier…grizzlies are supposed to be in the area so we’ll see if we’re lucky enough to spot them.
