What can you say about a road that wasn't all that long distance wise, but the time it took to drive was a bit over 9 hours.  Mainly due to the views...incredible.  A awful lot of 'distractions'...lava columns, rocks to climb, waterfalls, wide open vistas, the most fantastic trees growing straight out of granite rock.
